Gossip Girl Gone To Far?

I am absolutely obsessed with Gossip Girl! The story lines keep getting better as does the fashion. When I was a teen 90210 (the original) was all anyone ever talked about. I loved their story lines and adored their fashion. When Brenda lost her virginity to Dylan I thought this is what we...teens...are all going through. Now that I am in my twenties I realize just how provocative that show actually was. I sometimes find myself a little stunned by how much they push the envelope on Gossip Girl but have to remind myself this is the 90210 (the original) for today's youth. However, I did want to know everyone's thoughts on the latest cover of Rolling Stone. It's Leighton Meester and Blake Lively licking an ice cream cone. To much or just a sign of the times?

Market in The City

We MidgettGray girls just got back from market and had a fantastic time. Not necessarily at market but going out afterwards. We hit up hot spot Il Bastardo for dinner and loved it. I'm sure all of you City fans know that this is where a lot of filming takes place. Unfortunately, we didn't see any of the cast but we still had a great time! Anyway, back to market we actually are picking up an amazing line called Wink. The designer was actually there which is always refreshing and we got to talking about The City. Apparently the designer personally knows Olivia Palermo and says she totally gets a bad rep on the show and that she is incredibly sweet in person. What do you guys think is Olivia totally pretentious or does MTV do some hard core editing?

Beyonce is Back

After her not so memorable album B Day Beyonce will be dropping her new album "I Am...Sasha Fierce" in the near future. It will be divided into a 16-song double set..."I Am" will showcase her ballads...."Sasha Fierce" will be her more in your face numbers that she's really known for. This album is already getting great reviews...the extremely private star is said to really open up. Thank goodness I mean the woman won't even admit she's married! I really love the first single "If I Were A Boy." The video took a little getting used to. I totally get the concept, but I didn't really dig the cop storyline...and I wish they would have picked someone more attractive to play her partner. Her husband in the video is way cuter the other guy to me wasn't even that believeable. Here's the video play it and let me know what you think.

Okay so it was brought to my attention by my partner in crime G that the Country Music Awards turned out to be the new Oscars in terms of fashion. Carrie Underwood was said to have worn seven...that's right...seven different dresses. I mean I'm a fan of country singers but let's face it they're not exactly known for their taste in clothing. So what do you think have country music stars come a long way or what? I must admit I would be a little sad if there were no more rhinestones and big hair that stars like Dolly Parton and the Judds have been wearing for years.
